Math Game Monday & Freebie

So much has happened over the last 3 weeks - we got married, went on our honeymoon, had Easter and now I am back to school tomorrow! I will give you a sneak peak into my wedding and honeymoon later in the week, but for now - I am excited that Math Game Monday is back!

Thanks to Mel at From the Pond who has helped me with a new button, fonts and backgrounds! She is so wonderful!

Here is my game for this week! Simply click on the picture to download from google.docs.

If you are new to Teaching Maths with Meaning click on the Math Game Monday page to download all previous games. There will be a free download every Monday! Perfect to print out, laminate and file, ready to use at anytime.

Because I am back to school tomorrow after our 2 weeks holidays, we are going to do a quick picture and writing sentence. I thought I would share my outline with you! We are going to stick it in our portfolios as well.
Click on the picture if you would like to download the freebie template to use as well.

Have a great week!

  5. Thanks Alison for a great game - its easily adaptable beyond the junior levels. By rolling two dice you can create fractions or even decimal numbers. You could also generate two digit numbers making the number line between 0 and 100. Teaching year three I have found my students still need lots of work with the concept of number lines so this is a perfect addition to my resources. Thanks again. Kylie
